Re: Atheism Kills! – and atheists make better criminals
By
This is a response video to one made by the atheist HealthyAddict on the topic of whether or not atheism can be held up as the reason for someone shooting others and then committing suicide.
The following is a link to the origional video by HealthyAddict.
The following is a link to a letter written by Matthew Murray, who killed 4 people and then turned the gun on himself.

The following is a link to information regarding suicide stats associated with religious affiliation according to the American Psychiatric Association.

hahaha oh retard!!
God, please forgive …
God, please forgive this man for he knows not what the he is talking about. winterstellar, the previous commentor, was right on the money. check statistics of most violent counties. They have a much higher % of religious people than not. check the most peaceful nations in the world. They have a higher number of Athiests than not. this man is so sadly mis-informed. But then again he believes what the bible tells him. A typical sheeple.
Christians have …
Christians have been killing people who do not believe as they do from the beginning. In fact, Deuteronomy 13: 6-10 tells you to kill your friends, members of your family, and anyone who tempts you to worship other gods. As an atheist I have more compassion than god because if I had the power to stop rape, hunger, illness, murder, and war I would. If I have more compassion than god as a human being he is not worth worship.
@TrustinJC Why do …
@TrustinJC Why do the least religious countries have the least crimes then? Like the scandinavian countries or Japan?
LOL. This has got …
LOL. This has got to be the most presumptuous freak alive. He uses no statistics or solid sources. Btw, on that Buffalo Christian, he said he’ll be in heaven because he knows that beliefs are more important than actions. I don’t know where that got mixed up, but in the beginning of Christianity, actions had everything to do with being a good Christian, so like this halfwit, Christians are more likely to commit murder because they think they’ll be forgiven. This goon is laughable. PRESUMPTUOUS.
Yahoo up The …
Yahoo up The Bureau of U.S. Prisons and their religiosity. 370 prisoners of 500 consider themselves Protestant and Catholic, while 2 of 500 are atheist. This freak has to be kidding. He’s singling out a couple crimes, while ignoring the whole story. that story in florida sounds awfully familiar to the religious nut in Buffalo a few tears ago. He killed in cold blood 5 people in a fitness center. His first line in his suicide note said that by the time you read this, I’ll be in heaven.
Did it ever occur …
Did it ever occur to you that the reason there are more atheist who commit suicide is because atheists are being considered outcasts and undesirables (even by their own family)? That is no different than saying homosexuality causes more suicides. For studies, you can verify on your own since youtube doesn’t allow URL in comments
Also, atheists do have conscience and morals. We just don’t believe in souls. Don’t accuse us of having none, people like you cause these negative behaviors in atheists.
Excellent response. …
Excellent response. Any Atheist want to debate if there is a God(Which obviously there is an Almighty God Amen) first watch ‘The New Atheism’ and God Bless.
Wow, there are so …
Wow, there are so many problems with TrustinJC’s thinking and if at his age he hasn’t intellectually matured he never will.
@TrustinJC h t t p: …
@TrustinJC h t t p://w w w .nairaland.c o m/nigeria/topic-121066.0.html get rid of the spaces and read the article, theres your proof
@thebuzzerding …
@thebuzzerding You’re sure? Since you are so big on evidence, care to share it?
@TrustinJC lol so …
@TrustinJC lol so if i was under “gods” influence i would be totally out of everything i do? but we atheist dont see god, you can’t believe everything every1 tells you, you need PROOF. and no, im sure there are fewer atheist crimes
@thebuzzerding And …
@thebuzzerding And you think this is because atheists commit fewer crimes? If you would check the blockages in your ears and the blinders covering your eyes you would know that I explained the reason for it in the video. So you only show your own ignorance by calling people retards. Throwing insults and name calling is a defence mechanism of someone who has no real arguement.
lol you retards, …
lol you retards, there are fewer athiests in jail than actual believers, so why is athiesm such a horrible thing?
from 8 minutes …
from 8 minutes onwards this guy talks utter nonsense. Complete nonsequiturs over and over again
Explain the …
Explain the following: Why is it that God would create us, being omnipotent and surely knowing that we would commit original sin? Why would a logical loving god then punish us for the flaws that He himself built into us, knowing full well. Then he sends himself down to atone for the sins that he allowed us to commit? There is no free will. God knows the outcome of every decision so why pray? You think you will change his mind? Your God is a logical fallacy. Please explain this to me.
Perhaps the amount …
Perhaps the amount of murder,torture and genocide contained within the pages of the so called holy books is more than sufficient to satisfy the blood of any would be christian murderer.
Just a thought
@ABAisSCIENCE …
@ABAisSCIENCE Actually, I was quoting the stats for Canada and the US. Both countries have a population of about 1.5% Muslims
I do not deny that crime goes unpunished in Muslim countries.
I should PM you a copy of a email that an Afghani Muslim from New York sent to me while I was conversing with him. If you can read it and not feel for this man, it would be surprising.
I have no sympathy for Islam. Why do I debate them. You know why, I told you. How can I not?
@TrustinJC Chummy, …
@TrustinJC Chummy, when have you seen me Evangelize? When Christ spoke to the Pharisees and the scribes, what did he most commonly say? When he spoke to unbelievers, how did he treat them?
Christ is our example. Paul referred to Annanias as a whited wall. Not a very good testimony to publically attack the high priest, was it, or wasnt it? Depends on your perception, doesnt it !
I dont agree with some of your theology. I do know that you believe in God. We just dont agree.
@nyBrit To turn …
@nyBrit To turn away from what? Well, to turn away from known sin. Does this happen overnight? No.
There is no cookie cutter out there popping out Christians. Christians are individuals. We are imperfect.
What is your problem with Christianity? No belief in a god?
@nyBrit What is …
@nyBrit What is first required is that you believe in God. It is the prime ingredient. I know that Athiests have consciences, but they do not have a conscience for Christ. This grows inside of the new convert slowly. As you get to know God and Christ you begin to develop a desire to change aspects of your behaviour and character. You begin to develop knowledge and repentance becomes a central part of your walk. What does repentance mean? It means to turn away from something.
@nyBrit Sin has a …
@nyBrit Sin has a penalty my friend, for both believer and unbeliever. The difference is, that believers are dealt with in a different manner then unbelievers
Make no err, both pay for their sins.
Punishment and even …
Punishment and even the death sentence does not stop people from crime. That is a whole different discussion though.
You hope that everyone that comes out of jail becomes Christian. I hope that everyone who comes out of jail has just changed their ways and not out for doing whatever terrible things got them there in the first place – regardless of belief.
The majority of …
The majority of atheists/humanists aren’t out to ‘convert’. That’s one reason you don’t see them out ‘converting’ in prisons. Though, humanist chaplaincies are growing and I expect that you will see those more and more as time goes on (on campuses, in the military, hospitals, prisons, etc).
I disagree that atheists have ‘more of a reason’ to do terrible things. If anything, I think you could argue the opposite, given religious texts tend to give people an excuse.
Thanks for the …
Thanks for the response! I’ll read the articles later today.
On the note of the ‘hatred’ thing. I think you’ll find that far more within the conservative fundamentalist communities towards others and their beliefs (not just atheists).
Yes there’s a benefit – only insofar as our culture. The stats do not account for these people post-jail.
